Is the Wine & Cheese social event included in my conference registration?
If you have registered for the May 6th conference day, then yes, your registration includes the Wine & Cheese. If you have only registered for May 7th of the conference, your registration does not include the Wine & Cheese. You can purchase the a $20.00 stand alone ticket for the Wine & Cheese social event and Exhibit Hall entry on May 6th (4:00 – 6:00 pm)
Can I attend the Wine & Cheese if I am not a conference registrant?
There is a special $20.00 ticket for folks who are not registered in the conference and would like to attend the Wine & Cheese social event and Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 (4:00 – 6:00 pm)
Can I visit the Exhibition Hall if I am not a conference registrant?
You can purchase a $20.00 ticket for the Wine & Cheese social event and Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 (4:00-6:00 pm)
Will the sessions be recorded?
The sessions will not be recorded.
I am going to the conference on my own – how can I meet people? Will there be some social events?
- There will be opportunities to meet people during lunch and coffee breaks.
- “Table Topics” will be set up during lunch and coffee breaks to allow for folks to meet up and talk about a similar interest
- A Wine & Cheese will be held on Tuesday at 4:30 – 6:00 pm
- A casual “Pub Night” will be held on Tuesday from 7:00pm onwards
- Library Tours
What are “Table Talks”?
Signage will be distributed at select tables during coffee breaks and during the Wine & Cheese to allow for library workers and other registrants to meet and talk about a similar interest.
- Some topics could include: “Interlibrary Loan”, “Library Technician Special Interests” and “Book Banning”
- The topics will be announced ahead of time but you can also create your own!

Can you tell me how the Library Tours work?
There will be two library tours offered during the conference. One on May 6 and one on May 7.

- There is a 25 person limit to the library tours
- Please be aware that there might be stairs, walking outside, and uneven pathways
- You will need to go through security gates at each site
- Everyone will need to meet promptly at the main doors facing York Avenue near the entrance of the RBC Convention Centre – the tours are on tight schedules.
